Knowledge about sedation-analgesia and nursing professional practices in intensive care patients of a clinic in Lima, 2024

Abstract

The objective of the research will be to “Establish the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of the nursing professional on sedoanalgesia in intensive care patients in a clinic in Lima, 2024”; It will be developed using a non-experimental design, a quantitative approach and will be of a correlational level. The sample will be made up of 80 nursing graduates who work in the ICU of a clinic in Lima; The instruments will consist of a Questionnaire on Knowledge of Sedoanalgesia and an Observation Guide to measure the practices applied by nurses in patients with Sedoanalgesia; The two instruments belong to the authors Carrión and Huaraca who applied it in 2022 in Peru, they have the respective validation through the Expert Judgment that was approved with 97.2%; It also presents reliability by Crombach's Alpha of 0.975 and 0.972 respectively; For data analysis, the SPSS v26 statistical program will be used, through which the findings of each variable will be obtained in its descriptive form and hypothesis tests will also be carried out with a correlation coefficient, the results will seek to provide answers to the objectives. raised and thereby propose improvement actions for the problem studied.

La investigación presentará como objetivo “Establecer la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica del profesional de enfermería sobre sedoanalgesia en pacientes de cuidados intensivos de una clínica de Lima, 2024”; se desarrollará utilizando el diseño no experimental, enfoque cuantitativo y será de nivel correlacional, la muestra quedará conformada por 80 licenciadas de enfermería que trabajan en UCI de una clínica en Lima; los instrumentos consistirán en un Cuestionario sobre Conocimientos de sedoanalgesia y una Guía de observación para medir las prácticas que aplican las enfermeras en pacientes con sedoanalgesia; los dos instrumentos pertenecen a los autores Carrión y Huaraca quienes lo aplicaron en el 2022 en Perú, cuentan con la validación respectiva por medio del Juicio de expertos que fue aprobada con 97.2%; asimismo presenta confiabilidad por Alfa de Crombach de 0.975 y 0.972 respectivamente; para el análisis de datos se utilizará el programa estadístico SPSS v26, mediante el cual se obtendrán los hallazgos de cada variable en su forma descriptiva y también se realizará las pruebas de hipótesis con un coeficiente de correlación, los resultados buscarán que dar respuestas a los objetivos planteados y con ello proponer acciones de mejora para la problemática estudiada.
