Level of knowledge and attitudes of mothers who perform the kangaroo mother method of the neonatal icu service, in a hospital in Lima Sur, Lima 2022

Abstract

The research entitled: "Level of knowledge and Attitudes of mothers who perform the Kangaroo Mother Method of the Neonatal ICU Service, of a Hospital in South Lima, Lima 2022" with the main objective of analyzing the relationship of the Level of knowledge with the Attitudes of mothers who perform the Kangaroo Mother Method of the Neonatal ICU Service, of a Hospital in South Lima, Lima 2022. The present study is of a correlational type because it aims to verify the relationship between the Level of knowledge and the attitudes of mothers who perform the Kangaroo Mother Method without modifying the reality presented by the participants. The population of this research will be the mothers of premature newborns who are hospitalized in the Neonatal ICU, since it is a small population, the entire population will be taken as a sample, that is, it is a universal sample. The technique used will be the survey and already validated questionnaires as an instrument. Regarding the reliability of the variable Level of Knowledge, it has Cronbach's Alpha. 0.719, which is why it is maintained that the instrument is reliable, in the same way the Attitudes variable has a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.781.

La investigación titulada: “Nivel de conocimiento y Actitudes de las madres que realizan el Método Madre Canguro del Servicio de UCI Neonatal, de un Hospital de Lima Sur, Lima 2022” con objetivo principal Analizar la relación del Nivel de conocimiento con las Actitudes de las madres que realizan el Método Madre Canguro del Servicio de UCI Neonatal, de un Hospital de Lima Sur, Lima 2022. El presente estudio es de tipo correlacional porque pretende comprobar la relación entre el Nivel de conocimiento y las actitudes de las madres que realizan el Método Madre Canguro sin modificar la realidad que presentan los participantes. la población de la presente investigación serán las madres de los recién nacidos prematuros que se encuentren hospitalizados en la UCI Neonatal, por ser una población pequeña se cogerá como muestra la totalidad de la población, es decir se trata de una muestra universal. la técnica utilizada será la encuesta y como instrumento cuestionarios ya validados. Respecto a la confiablidad de la variable Nivel de Conocimiento tiene como Alfa de Crombach. 0,719 por lo cual se sostiene que el instrumento es confiable, de igual manera la variable Actitudes un Alfa de Crombach. 0,781.
