Knowledge and practice on basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation in nurses in the emergency service of a hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to know what is the relationship between the knowledge that nurses have about Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the practice of this process, this through a quantitative methodology of applied type, correlational level with a nonexperimental design, as a sample is planted to 53 nursing workers in the emergency service, for which a questionnaire will be applied to measure knowledge and an observation guide to measure the level of practice which have been verified both in their validity and in their reliability at the national level, with which the data will be collected in an average of 25 minutes per member of the sample, with which the database will be developed that will be processed by the Spss 25.0 to provide results in tables and figures with their respective interpretation, being the descriptive results, in the inferential result the normality test will be applied to verify the nature of the data and depending on it use the most feasible test to verify the hypotheses of study and be able to provide the conclusions of the study.

El trabajo tiene el propósito de conocer cuál es la relación entre el conocimiento que tiene los enfermeros sobre la Reanimación Cardiopulmonar Básico y la práctica de dicho proceso, esto a través de una metodología cuantitativa de tipo aplicada, nivel correlacional con un diseño no experimental, como muestra se plantea a 53 trabajadores de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia, para los cuales se aplicará un cuestionario para medir el conocimiento y una guía de observación para medir el nivel de práctica los cuales han sido verificados tanto en su validez como en su confiablidad a nivel nacional, con los cuales se recolectarán los datos en un promedio de 25 minutos por integrante de la muestra, con los cuales se desarrollará la base de datos que será procesada por el Spss 25.0 para brindar resultados en tablas y figuras con su respectiva interpretación siendo ello los resultados descriptivos, en el resultado inferencial se aplicará la prueba de normalidad para verificar la naturaleza de los datos y dependiendo de ello utilizar la prueba más factible para comprobar las hipótesis de estudio y poder brindar las conclusiones del estudio.
