Level of knowledge and practice on biosafety measures of the nursing professional in the emergency service in a hospital in Callao, 2023

Abstract

The objetive of this research is "Determine the level of knowledge about biosafety measures and the practice of the nursing professional in the emergency service in a hospital in Callao, 2023". The sample population is made up of 80 nurses who work in the emergency area, the research design is of the applied type, the method used was hypothetical deductive, observational, descriptive and cross-sectional, with a quantitative approach in the same way the scope of the study it is correlational. To evaluate the knowledge variable about biosafety measures, a reliable questionnaire 0.88 with Cronbach's Alpha will be applied, and for the practical variable on biosafety measures, a checklist will be applied with Cronbach's Alpha 0.804. Data collection will be through the survey. Data analysis will be the statistics which will allow the results of the investigation to be shown, likewise the hypothesis raised at the beginning of the investigation will be verified.

El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar el nivel de conocimiento y práctica sobre las medidas de bioseguridad del profesional de enfermería en el servicio de emergencia en un hospital del callao, 2023. La población y muestra estará compuesta de 80 enfermeros que laboran en el área de emergencia; el diseño de la investigación es de tipo aplicada, el método usado fue hipotético deductivo, no experimental y transversal, de enfoque cuantitativo y, de igual modo, el alcance del estudio será correlacional. Para evaluar la variable conocimiento sobre las medidas de bioseguridad se aplicará un cuestionario confiable cuyo coeficiente es de 0,88 según prueba de Alpha de Cronbach y para la variable práctica sobre las medidas de bioseguridad se aplicará una lista de verificación con un coeficiente de Alpha de Cronbach de 0,804. La técnica que se empleará será la encuesta. Se empleará el análisis estadístico de datos que permitirá mostrar los resultados de la investigación; asimismo, se comprobará la hipótesis planteada en un principio en la investigación. se empleará Spearman para determinar la correlación de las variables
