Level of post-operative patient satisfaction with nursing care at the Centenario Peruvian Japanese Clinic, Lima, 2021

Abstract

Introduction: According to the RAE (Royal Spanish Academy), patient satisfaction is the feeling of comfort that is obtained by satisfying needs, it is the affirmative response to the complaint, question or doubt, while nursing care are activities intended to maintain, restore and care for life, based on effective nurse-patient communication. Objective: Determine the level of post-operative patient satisfaction regarding nursing care at the Peruano Japonesa Clinic in 2021. Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental cross-sectional study will be carried out. The study population will be made up of 49 post-operative patients from the surgical center unit of the Clínica Centenario Peruano Japonesa, to whom the questionnaire on the level of satisfaction of the post-operative patient regarding nursing care will be applied as an instrument, according to 4 dimensions: treatment, availability, continuity of care and outcome of care. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the statistical package SPSS version 22.0 and Microsoft Excel.

Introducción: Según la RAE (Real Academia Española), satisfacción del paciente es la es la sensación de comodidad que se obtiene al satisfacer las necesidades, es la respuesta afirmativa al reclamo, pregunta o duda, Mientras que la atención de enfermería son actividades destinadas a mantener, restaurar y cuidar la vida, fundamentada en la comunicación efectiva enfermera – paciente. Objetivo: Determinar nivel de satisfacción del paciente post operado sobre la atención de enfermería de la Clínica Peruano Japonesa en el año 2021. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de tipo descriptivo, no experimental de corte transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por 49 pacientes post operados de la unidad de centro quirúrgico de la Clínica Centenario Peruano Japonesa, a los que se les aplicará como instrumento el cuestionario sobre nivel de satisfacción del paciente post-operado sobre la atención de enfermería, según 4 dimensiones: trato, disponibilidad, continuidad del cuidado y resultado del cuidado. Los datos obtenidos serán tabulados y procesados estadísticamente, aplicando el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 22.0 y Microsoft Excel.
