Level of knowledge about behavior in the face of an earthquake and attitude in the residents of the las Lomas de Chosica association, 2023

Abstract

Objective: Determine how the level of knowledge about behavior in the event of an earthquake is related to the attitude of the residents of the Lomas de Chosica. Methodology: the present study will correspond to the type of applied research, while the methodological approach will be quantitative, likewise the design will be non-experimental, correlational and will belong to the transversal section. Population and Sample: It will be made up of 117 residents who will be selected through simple random probabilistic sampling since each individual will have the same possibility of participating. Technique and Instruments: the technique used in this research will be the survey and the data collection tools will be coordinated through a knowledge questionnaire about behavior in the face of an earthquake and a Likert scale test on the attitude to take when faced with an earthquake. earthquake, it should be added that these instruments present a Cronbach and Kuder Richardson Alpha reliability of 0.866 and 0.706 in the given order. Data processing and analysis: the collected and relevant information will be coded in the Excel application and will be processed in the SPSS version 26 computer program. Where descriptive statistics will be applied for data appraisal to subsequently identify the type of correlation between the variables studied, as well as the testing of hypotheses through the Chi Square test.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar cómo el nivel de conocimiento sobre el comportamiento ante un sismo se relaciona con la actitud de los pobladores las lomas de Chosica,2023. El tipo de investigación será aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, de tipo correlacional y de corte al transversal. La muestra estará conformada por 117 pobladoresseleccionados por medio del muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple . la técnica que se empleará será la encuesta y las herramientas de recolección de datos estarán concertados a través de un cuestionario de conocimientos sobre el comportamiento ante un sismo y un test de escala de Likert sobre la actitud a tomar ante un sismo, cabe agregar que dichas herramientas presentan una confiabilidad de Alfa de Cronbach y Kuder Richardson de 0,866 y 0.706 en el orden dado. El procesamiento de datos se codificará en el Aplicativo de Excel y se procesarán en el programa informático SPSS versión 26. En donde se aplicará la estadística descriptiva para la tasación de datos para identificar el tipo de correlación entre las variables estudiadas, así como la contrastación de hipótesis por intermedio de la prueba de Chi Cuadrado.
