Knowledge and attitude of nursing staff in the immediate care of the newborn in the neonatology unit, Hospital De Huaraz - 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of the nursing staff in the immediate care of the newborn in the neonatology unit of a hospital in Huaraz 2022. Methodology: A quantitative approach will be applied with a type of applied research, with a correlational and transversal scope. The sample will be made up of 75 nursing professionals, applying two questionnaires: The first on the level of knowledge and the second on attitude towards immediate care of the newborn; These instruments were designed by Esteban in 2017 and then information will be obtained to process using the IBM SPSS version 26.0 program to obtain the descriptive and inferential analysis, in order to obtain the degree of relationship between the variables studied.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud del personal de enfermería en la atención inmediata del recién nacido en la unidad de neonatología de un hospital de Huaraz 2022. Metodología: Se estará aplicando un enfoque cuantitativo con un tipo de investigación aplicada, con un alcance correlacional y de corte trasversal. La muestra estará conformada por 75 profesionales de enfermería, aplicándole dos cuestionarios: El primero sobre el nivel de conocimiento y el segundo sobre actitud hacia la atención inmediata del recién nacido; dichos instrumentos fueron diseñados por Esteban en el 2017 y luego se obtendrá información para procesar mediante el programa IBM SPSS versión 26.0 para obtener el análisis descriptivo e inferencial, con la finalidad de obtener el grado de relación entre las variables estudiadas.
