The aim of this study was to determine the proximity of the third molar to the inferior dental canal in computed tomography scans of patients treated at the maxillofacial diagnostic center "CEDIMAX" – 2020. An observational, retrospective, cross-sectional, and descriptive study was conducted with a correlational level. The population consisted of 140 computed tomography scans, and an instrument validated by expert judgment was used for the evaluation.
Resumen
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar proximidad del tercer molar con el conducto dentario inferior en tomografías computarizadas de pacientes atendidos en el Centro de diagnóstico maxilofacial “CEDIMAX” – 2020. Se realizó un estudio observacional, retrospectivo, transversal y descriptivo; con un nivel correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 140 tomografías computarizadas y para la evaluación se empleó un instrumento que fue validado por juicio de expertos.
