Resumen
Objective: "To determine the relationship between social support and therapeutic adherence in older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus treated at Chancay Hospital, 2024." The population for the research will consist of 80 older adults attending outpatient clinics at Chancay Hospital. Regarding the study sample, non-probabilistic convenience sampling will be applied. Methodological Design: The type of research will be applied. The design will be observational, correlational, and cross-sectional. To assess the variable "social support," the MOS questionnaire will be used, while the Morisky Green questionnaire will be employed to evaluate therapeutic adherence. The technique to be used is the survey. Statistical Processing and Data Analysis: Descriptive methods and frequencies will be used, expressed in percentage tables. Inferential analysis will be conducted based on distribution using parametric statistical methods (Pearson Correlation) or non-parametric methods (Chi-square).
Resumen
Objetivo: “Determinar la relación entre el apoyo social y la adherencia terapéutica en adultos mayores con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 atendidos en el hospital de Chancay, 2024”, la población que se empleará para la investigación estará constituida por 80 adultos mayores atendidos en consultorios externos del hospital de Chancay. En cuanto a la muestra de estudio, se aplicará el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Diseño Metodológico: El tipo de investigación será aplicada. Diseño será observacional, correlacional y de corte transversal. Para evaluar la variable apoyo social se utilizará el cuestionario MOS, mientras que, para evaluar la adherencia terapéutica se utilizará el cuestionario de Morisky Green. La técnica a utilizar será la encuesta. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de data: se ejecutará a través métodos descriptivos y frecuencias que se expresarán en tablas porcentuales, el análisis inferencial se realizará en base a su distribución a través de métodos estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Chi-cuadrado).
