Family functionality and its relation to self-esteem in adolescents attended in the outpatient department of a national hospital

Abstract

This research has as Objective: to determine the relationship that exists between family functionality in adolescents treated in the outpatient clinic of a national hospital, Lima 2023. The Methodology: hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; The population will be made up of adolescents treated in a national hospital. Said establishment has an adolescent program, counting to date 80 registered, being them the total population. To evaluate the variable, to evaluate the family functionality variable, the FACES III questionnaire was taken and for the self-esteem variable with a Likert-type scale, both with acceptable reliability and validity values. A survey will be applied to collect data. Statistical analysis of the data: a descriptive analysis will be carried out using frequency and percentage tables, the inferential analysis will be through parametric (Pearson's Correlation) or non-parametric (Chi-square) statistical tests.

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre funcionalidad familiar en adolescentes atendidos en la consulta externa de un hospital nacional, Lima 2023. La Metodología: método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal; La población estará conformada por los adolescentes atendidos en un hospital nacional. Dicho establecimiento cuenta con programa del adolescente, contando a la fecha de 80 inscritos, siendo ellos la población total. Para evaluar la variable, para evaluar la variable funcionalidad familiar se utilizará el cuestionario FACES III y para la variable autoestima con una escala tipo Likert, ambos con valores de confiabilidad y validez aceptables. Se aplicará una encuesta para recolectar data. Análisis estadístico de la data: se realizará un análisis descriptivo mediante tablas de frecuencia y porcentaje, el análisis inferencial será mediante pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Chi-cuadrado)
