Preoperative anxiety in patients undergoing surgery at the Hipolito Unanue National Hospital, 2020.

Abstract

Introduction: This study is quantitative, with a descriptive and cross-sectional design. The estimated population will consist of 50 patients scheduled for surgery at the surgical center of the hospital. The data collection technique will be the survey, and the tool to be used will be the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS), designed by Moerman and others, which was also applied to our context. Ethical aspects will be considered in the execution of the study.

Introducción: El presente estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño descriptivo y transversal, la población estimada será de 50 pacientes programados a una intervención quirúrgica en el centro quirúrgico del Hospital. La técnica de recolección de datos a utilizar será la encuesta y el instrumento a usar será el instrumento de Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS), diseñado por Moerman y otros colaboradores, que también fue aplicada a nuestra realidad. Se considerarán los aspectos éticos en la realización del presente estudio.
