Level of knowledge and application of the sterilization process, by the central sterilization nursing staff of the II EsSsalud hospital Cajamarca, 2023

Abstract

The work is titled "Level of knowledge and application of the sterilization process, by the central sterilization nursing staff of the II Essalud Cajamarca hospital, 2023", which aims to determine how the level of knowledge is related to the application of the process, regarding sterilization by nursing staff. The study will work with a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach of applied level of correlational level, the sample will be 10 health workers, also as data collection instruments a questionnaire will be used to measure knowledge and a checklist to the nursing application of the sterilization process, validated instruments; and with a reliability of 0.890 and 0.910 respectively. Data collection will take approximately 25 minutes per participant; Tables will be used for the analysis and interpretation of descriptive results. Likewise, to test the hypothesis, the Spearman test with a confidence level of 95% will be used as a statistical estimate.

El trabajo se titula “Nivel de conocimiento y aplicación del proceso de esterilización, por el personal de enfermería central de esterilización del hospital II Essalud Cajamarca, 2023”, el cual tiene como objetivo determinar como el nivel de conocimiento se relaciona con la aplicación de proceso, respecto a la esterilización por parte del personal de enfermería. El estudio trabajará con un método hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo de nivel aplicada de nivel correlacional, la muestra será de 10 trabajadores de salud, igualmente como instrumentos de recolección de datos se usará un cuestionario para medir el conocimiento y una lista de cotejo para la aplicación de enfermería del proceso de esterilización, instrumentos validados; y con una confiabilidad, de un 0.890 y 0.910 respectivamente. La recopilación de información tomará aproximadamente 25 minutos por participante; se utilizarán tablas para el análisis y la interpretación de resultados descriptivos. Asimismo, para probar la hipótesis se utilizará como estimación estadística la prueba de Spearman con un nivel de confianza del 95%
