Level of knowledge about hypertension in hypertensive patients hospitalized at the National Cardiovascular Institute (incor) during the sars-cov 2 pandemic period in 2021

Abstract

The present study, being an inductive type of research, carried out in a national reference hospital, is expected to produce results that are close to the reality of the insured population at a national level; this will allow in the future a decision-making and adoption of strategies based on reality that could be generalized to the population at a national level. Knowledge about this disease in patients who suffer from it will help us to influence and direct our strategies in preventive promotional programs at a national level; hoping with this, cardiovascular diseases and other conditions related to hypertension will have a significant decrease in the coming years, influencing a greater and better quality of life (1)(3)

El presente estudio, siendo una investigación de tipo inductivo, realizado en un hospital de referencia nacional; se espera resultados que se acerquen a la realidad de la población asegurada a nivel nacional; esto permitirá en adelante una toma de decisiones y adopción de estrategias en base a la realidad que podrían generalizarse a la población a nivel nacional. El conocimiento sobre esta enfermedad en los pacientes que la padecen nos ayudará a incidir y dirigir nuestras estrategias en los programas preventivo promocionales a nivel nacional; esperando con esto las enfermedades cardiovasculares y otras afecciones relacionadas con la HTA tengan un descenso significativo en los próximos años, incidiendo en una mayor y mejor calidad de vida (1)(3)
