Knowledge about ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorders in nursing professionals in the surgical center of a hospital in Piura 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is: To determine the knowledge on ergonomics and its relationship with musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing professional of the surgical center of a hospital in Piura, 2023. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; the sample will be constituted by 41 nursing professionals of the surgical center service of a Piura Hospital, 2023. Two questionnaires will be applied to them, the first one on knowledge about ergonomics previously validated and the second one on the presence of musculoskeletal disorders also validated. The study will have the approval of the institutional ethics committee and the principles of bioethics will be respected at all times.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo: Determinar el conocimiento sobre ergonomía y su relación con los trastornos musculoesqueléticos en el profesional de enfermería de centro quirúrgico de un hospital de Piura, 2023. La metodología: método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 41 profesionales de enfermería del servicio de centro quirúrgico de un Hospital Piura, 2023. A quienes se les aplicarán dos cuestionarios, el primero de conocimiento sobre ergonomía validado anteriormente y el segundo sobre la presencia de trastornos musculoesqueléticos también validado. Contará con la aprobación del comité de ética institucional y se respetará en todo momento los principios de bioética.
