Effect of polymerization time on the magnitude of the color of locally marketed bulk fill resin restorations in 2021.

Abstract

The present study titled "Effect of polymerization time on the color magnitude of Bulk Fill resin restorations from local commercial sources in 2021" aimed to determine the effect of polymerization time on the color magnitude of Bulk Fill resin restorations from local commercial sources in 2021. A descriptive-correlational research method was used, with a quantitative approach, applied type, cross-sectional design, and experimental design. The study involved 60 photopolymerizable resin discs with dimensions of 4mm depth and 8mm diameter. The results were obtained using the Kruskal-Wallis statistical test, and it was established that the variables were independent, meaning the null hypothesis was rejected. The conclusion was that there are differences between polymerization time and the color magnitude of Bulk Fill resin restorations from local commercial sources in 2021.

El presente estudio titulado “Efecto del tiempo de polimerización en la magnitud del color de las restauraciones de resina Bulk fill de comercialización local en el año 2021” presentó como objetivo determinar el efecto que tiene el tiempo de polimerización frente a la magnitud del color de las restauraciones de resina Bulk fill de comercialización local en el año 2021. Se empleó un método de investigación descriptivo-correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, transversal y de diseño experimental. Se estudió 60 discos de resina fotopolimerizables, con dimensiones de 4mm de profundidad y un diámetro de 8mm. Los resultados se obtuvieron mediante la prueba estadística de Kruskal Wallis, se estableció la independencia de las variables, es decir que no se acepta la hipótesis nula, como conclusión se obtuvo que existe diferencias en el tiempo de polimerización frente a la magnitud del color de las restauraciones de resina Bulk fill de comercialización en el año 2021.
