Knowledge on percutaneous catheter care of the nursing professional in the neonatal intensive care service of the Santa Rosa Hospital-2021

Abstract

Births are great events that fill many homes with joy, but sometimes there are events that dampen this joy, such as premature births, which occur in some cases and require specialized care in the neonatal ICU services, where the neonate is provided with specialized care and is subjected to highly invasive procedures, such as the use of percutaneous catheter, the study aims to; determine the level of knowledge about percutaneous catheter care of nursing professionals in the neonatology service of the Santa Rosa hospital, 2021. This research is applied, with a quantitative approach, it will use a deductive method, because it will determine the problem from the general to the particular, the study population and census sample will be 35 nurses who work in the neonatal intensive care service of a hospital in Lima. . The technique will be the survey, with which the variable will be measured. Likewise, the instrument consists of 25 items with two general and specific dimensions and was validated by Díaz in 2014, in Mexico City and has a Kuder Richardon reliability, yielding a result of 0.64, which implies that it is highly reliable, the Results will be presented through statistical tables.

Los nacimientos son grandes acontecimientos que llenan de alegría a muchos hogares, pero a veces hay sucesos que apañan esta alegría como es el caso de los partos prematuros, que se presentan en algunos casos y requieren de atenciones especializadas en los servicios de la uci neonatal, donde se brindan al neonato atenciones especializadas y son sometidos a procedimientos altamente invasivos, como el uso de catéter percutáneo el estudio tiene como objetivo; determinar el nivel de Conocimientos sobre el cuidado del catéter percutáneo de los profesionales de enfermería en el servicio de neonatología del hospital Santa Rosa, 2021. Esta investigación es aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, empleará un método deductivo, porque determinará el problema de lo general a lo particular, la población de estudio y muestra censal será de 35 enfermeras que trabajan en el servicio de cuidados intensivos neonatales de un hospital de Lima. La técnica será la encuesta, con la cual se medirá la variable. Asimismo, el instrumento consta de 25 ítems con dos dimensiones generales y específicas y fue validado por Díaz en el 2014, en la ciudad de México y cuenta con una confiabilidad de Kuder Richardon arrojando un resultado de 0.64 lo que implica que es altamente confiable, los resultados serán presentados por medio de tablas estadísticas.
