Factors associated with the stage of pressure injuries in patients from the intensive care unit of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, Lima 2023

Abstract

The objective of this study will be to determine the factors associated with the stage of pressure injuries in patients in the Intensive Care Unit of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases from November to December 2023. Methodology: we will work with a population and sample made up of 60 users admitted to the ICU of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases. As a method: hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design. The survey and observation technique will be used with a questionnaire and an observation sheet as instruments. And for the results, the statistical analysis will be carried out with the SPSS program, with a confidence level of 95%, statistical error of 5%. The hypothesis will be evaluated according to the following result: If the value of "p" is less than 5% (p0.05) then H0 is accepted.

El presente estudio tendrá como objetivo de determinar los factores que se asocia al estadio de las lesiones por presión en pacientes de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas de noviembre a diciembre del 2023. Metodología: se trabajará con una población y muestra constituida por 60 usuarios ingresados a la UCI del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas. Como método: hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de diseño no experimental. Se empleará como técnica a la encuesta y observación con un cuestionario y una ficha de observación como instrumentos. Y Para los resultados realizará el análisis estadístico con el programa SPSS, con un nivel de confianza de 95%, error estadístico de 5%. La hipótesis será evaluada según el siguiente resultado: Si el valor de “p” es menor que el 5% (p<0.05) entonces se acepta H1. Si el valor de “p” es mayor que el 5% (p>0.05) entonces se acepta H0.
