Level of knowledge of cardio pulmonary resuscitation in the emergency area nursing staff of the Ventanilla Hospital Lima 2020

Abstract

Objective: Determine the degree of knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation of professional care personnel in the emergency and emergency area, Materials and methods The present study has a quantitative approach, descriptive cross-sectional design. The study population will be made up of 45 nursing care professionals from the emergency area, the cardiac arrest faced in the emergency has a high-grade resolution, the patient enters the shock trauma unit, it is evaluated if the patient is breathing, has a pulse, if he responds to the call, with these clinical data we proceed to apply cardiac massage with a depth of 5 cm in five cycles, oxygen every 2 seconds, evaluate the patient's pulse in each cycle and if he does not have a pulse continue with the massage cardiac, it is important to administer adrenaline every 5 minutes, and follow the AHA protocol. 100% of the population will be studied. The instrument was a questionnaire from the study carried out by Gálvez Centeno C. (18) It consists of 21 questions and/or closed statements with multiple and dichotomous alternatives. The questions in the questionnaire are based on the knowledge that the nursing professional who works in the emergency area must have, the dimensions are to identify cardiorespiratory arrest and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, perform chest compression, airway, ventilation and early defibrillation. The evaluation according to the score is high from 15 to 21, medium from 7 to 14 and low from 1 to 6.

Objetivo: Determinar el grado de conocimiento sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar del personal profesional asistencial del área de urgencias y emergencia, Materiales y métodos El presente estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo de corte transversal. La población de estudio estará conformado por 45 profesionales asistencial de enfermería del área de emergencia, el paro cardiaco que se enfrenta en la emergencia, tiene como resolución de alto grado, el paciente ingresa a la unidad de shock trauma se evalúa si el paciente respira, tiene pulso, si responde al llamado, con estos datos clínicos se procede a la aplicación del masaje cardiaco con una profundidad de 5 cm en cinco ciclo, oxigeno cada 2 ss, evaluar en cada ciclo el pulso del paciente y si no tiene pulso seguir con el masaje cardiaco, es importante la administración de adrenalina cada 5 min, y seguir el protocolo del AHA. Se estudiará el 100% de la población. El instrumento fue un cuestionario del estudio realizado por Gálvez Centeno C. (18) Consta con 21 preguntas y/o enunciados cerrados con alternativas múltiples y dicotómicas. Las preguntas del cuestionario son basadas al conocimiento que debe tener el profesional de enfermería que labora en el área de emergencia, las dimensiones son identificar un paro cardiorrespiratorio y reanimación cardiopulmonar, realizar la compresión torácicas, vía aérea, ventilación y desfibrilación temprana. La valoración de acuerdo al puntaje es alto de 15 a 21 medio de 7 a 14 y bajo de 1 a 6.
