Sociocultural factors related to iron deficiency anemia in children from 6 to 36 months at the Túpac Amaru health post

Abstract

The research project aims to determine the sociocultural factors related to iron deficiency anemia in children from six to thirty-six months of age at the Túpac amaru health post. The project is quantitative, with a descriptive method. As a population there are 180 mothers and as a sample 123. As a technique, the survey was used, as an instrument the questionnaire was validated by expert judgment and Crombach's alpha with a reliability of 0.803. The justification for the development of this project is the contribution of statistical figures that make it easier to understand the real scenario of the social and cultural factor associated with iron deficiency and this can provide support for planning strategies to improve nursing consultations in holistic care. of the child through growth and development monitoring services (cred). The results will provide reliable data for future research with experimental design and qualitative approach on issues related to causes associated with iron deficiency, this in turn will contribute to the improvement of pedagogical teaching models for future nurses in comprehensive child care.

El proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar cuáles son los factores socioculturales relacionados a la anemia ferropénica en niños de seis a treinta y seis meses de edad en el puesto de salud Túpac amaru. El proyecto es de tipo cuantitativo, de método descriptivo. Como población se tiene a 180 madres y como muestra a 123. Como técnica se usó la encuesta, como instrumento el cuestionario que fue validado por juicio de expertos y el alfa de crombach con una confiabilidad del 0.803. La justificación del desarrollo de este proyecto es la aportación de cifras estadísticos que facilita entender el escenario real del factor social y cultural asociados a la deficiencia de hierro y ello puede resultar de sustento para planificar estrategias de perfeccionamiento de las consultas de enfermería en la asistencia holística del niño a través de los servicios de control de crecimiento y desarrollo (cred). Los resultados proporcionarán datos fiables para futuras investigaciones con diseño experimental y enfoque cualitativo en temas relacionado a causas asociados a la deficiencia de hierro, esto a la vez contribuirá a la mejora de modelos pedagógicos de enseñanza de los venideros enfermeros en el cuidado integral infantil.
