Level of knowledge and its relationship with healthy eating practices in mothers of children under 12 years of age in the Girasoles Comas Lima 2022 Condominium

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practice on healthy foods in mothers of the Girasoles Comas Condominium Lima 2022. Material and methods: The methodological approach used was quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational and descriptive. The sample was 60 mothers of children under 12 years of age from the condominium, being selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria of the research. To measure the level of knowledge and its relationship with healthy eating, 02 instruments were used: a) questionnaire, to measure the level of knowledge of mothers about preschool feeding; and b) inventory, to measure the practices reported by mothers on healthy eating.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del nivel de conocimiento con la practica sobre alimentos saludables en madres del Condominio Girasoles Comas Lima 2022.Material y métodos: El enfoque metodológico utilizado fue cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal correlacional y descriptivo. la muestra fueron 60 madres de niños (a) menores de 12 años de edad del condominio, siendo seleccionadas por criterios de inclusión y exclusión de la investigación. Para medir el nivel de conocimiento y su relacion de alimentacion saludable, se utilizó 02 instrumentos: a) cuestionario, para medir el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre alimentación del preescolar; y b) inventario, para medir las prácticas reportadas por las madres sobre alimentación saludable.
