Knowledge of ergonomic risk factors and musculoskeletal diseases in nursing professionals, emergency service of a national hospital in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The objective of this research is: to determine the relationship between ergonomics knowledge and musculoskeletal diseases in the nursing professional of the Emergency Department of a national hospital in Lima, 2023. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental design, quantitative approach, descriptive, applied, correlational, cross-sectional; the sample will consist of 80 nursing professionals of the Emergency Department, the instruments that will be used for the research work will be; a questionnaire for ergonomics knowledge of the author Mogollón of 2018 and a checklist for musculoskeletal diseases of the author Epiquien of 2020, which are already validated; both instruments have a high level of reliability, of 0. 957 and 0.940 Cronbach's alpha. Once the information has been obtained, we will work on the data and proceed with the statistical analysis at both the descriptive and inferential levels, where the first to describe the levels of the variables, a matrix in Microsoft Excel 2021, which will then be processed using the SPSS 27.0 statistical package, according to the values obtained, the tables and/or figures will be prepared as appropriate. Likewise, the inferential part will proceed by means of Spearman's statistical test, which will allow to test the study hypotheses with a confidence of 95%, and to be able to establish the corresponding conclusions.

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento de factores de riesgo ergonómicos y las enfermedades musculo esqueléticas en el profesional de enfermería del Servicio de Emergencia de un hospital nacional de Lima, 2023. La metodología: método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, aplicada, correlacional, de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por 80 profesionales de enfermería del servicio de Emergencia, los instrumentos que se usaran para el trabajo de investigación serán; un cuestionario para el conocimiento de ergonomía del autor Mogollón del año 2018 y una ficha de cotejo para las enfermedades musculo esqueléticas del autor Epiquien del año 2020, los cuales ya están validados; ambos instrumentos tienen un alto nivel de confiabilidad, de un 0.957 y 0.940 de alfa de Cronbach. Una vez obtenido la información, se trabajará en los datos se procederá con el análisis estadístico tanto a nivel descriptivo como inferencial en donde el primero para describir los niveles de las variables, una matriz en el Microsoft Excel 2021, en el cual luego serán procesadas mediante el paquete estadístico SPSS 27.0, según los valores obtenidos se elaborarán las tablas y/o figuras según correspondan. Asimismo, la parte inferencial se procederá mediante la prueba estadística de Spearman el cual permitirá comprobar las hipótesis de estudio con una confianza del 95%, y poder establecer las conclusiones correspondientes.
