Work stress and interpersonal relationships in the nursing team of the surgical center of a Public Hospital in Lima, during the post-2022 Pandemic

Abstract

Introduction: During the post-pandemic, surgical center nursing staff faced great challenges and work pressures, where work stress and interpersonal relationships were affected. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between work stress and interpersonal relationships of the nursing team at the surgical center of a public hospital in Lima, during the post-pandemic 2022. Materials and methods: Research with a quantitative, non-experimental, applied, cutting approach. cross-sectional, correlational scope that uses the hypothetical deductive method to explore and describe the study phenomena. The population will be made up of 80 licensed nursing professionals who work in the surgical area of ​​a public hospital in Lima. For this, validated and reliable instruments will be used such as the JCQ questionnaire in the minimal reduced version in Spanish to measure work stress and the FIRO-B questionnaire to measure interpersonal relationships. Statistical analysis will be performed using descriptive and inferential statistics using Sperman's correlation coefficient.

Introducción: Durante la post pandemia el personal de enfermería de centro quirúrgico enfrentó grandes retos y presiones de trabajo, dónde el estrés laboral y las relaciones interpersonales se vieron afectadas. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre estrés laboral y las relaciones interpersonales del equipo de enfermería de centro quirúrgico de un hospital público de Lima, durante la post pandemia 2022. Materiales y métodos: Investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, aplicada, de corte transversal, de alcance correlacional que usa el método hipotético deductivo para explorar y describir los fenómenos de estudio. La población será conformada por 80 profesionales licenciados de enfermería que trabajan en el área quirúrgica de un hospital público de Lima. Para lo cual, se utilizarán instrumentos validados y confiables como el cuestionario de JCQ en la versión mínima reducida en castellano para medir el estrés laboral y el cuestionario de FIRO-B para medir las relaciones interpersonales. El análisis estadístico se realizará usando la estadística descriptiva e inferencial mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Sperman.
