Exposure to occupational risks in the nursing professional who works in the hospitalization service of the Hospital of Huaycan Lima, 2020.

Abstract

Objective: To determine the occupational risks of nursing staff working in the hospitalization services of the Huaycán Hospital during the 2020 period. Material and method: The study follows a quantitative approach; in terms of the methodological design, it is a non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional study, with a population consisting of 61 nursing professionals working in the hospitalization services of the Huaycán Hospital. The data collection technique will be through a survey, and the data collection instrument will be the occupational risks questionnaire by Dania Escobar Gonzales, which is structured with 33 closed-ended questions with multiple-choice alternatives using a Likert scale, grouped into 5 dimensions. The answers are dichotomous for each item, scoring 1 if there is a risk and 0 if there is no risk.

El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo; en cuanto al diseño metodológico es un estudio no experimental de tipo descriptivo y de corte trasversal, con una población constituida por 61 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en los servicios de hospitalización del Hospital de Huaycán. La técnica de recolección de datos será a través de una encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos será el cuestionario de riesgos ocupacionales de Dania Escobar Gonzales, el cual está estructurado con 33 preguntas cerradas con alternativas múltiples tipo Likert agrupados en 5 dimensiones .Las respuestas son dicotómicas para cada uno de los ítems, si tiene riesgo se valora con 1 y si hay ausencia del mismo se valora con 0.
