Ergonomic risks and work performance of nursing staff in the intensive care unit of the National Hospital, Huancayo - 2024

Abstract

Introduction: Ergonomic risks in nursing are decreasing, currently the term ergonomics is important in the promotion of health and well – being, thus reducing accidents and improving the productivity of companies, what we call work performance. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between ergonomic risks and work performance of nursing staff in the intensive care unit of the Ramiro Priale Priale National Hospital, Huancayo – 2024. Methods: applied, quantitative, correlational and cross – sectional study. The census sample Will consist of 60 nurses from the intensive care unit of the Ramiro Priale Priale National Hospital. The survey Will be used to apply two questionnaires on a Likert-type scale adapted by Pantoja for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data Will be processed in SPPS 25 and the hypotheses Will be tested using the Spearman correlation correlation statistical test given the quantitative natures of the variables.

Introducción: Los riesgos ergonómicos en enfermería van disminuyendo, en la actualidad es importante el termino ergonomía en el ámbito laboral, con la promoción de la salud y el bienestar, así reduciendo accidentes y mejorando la productividad de las empresas, lo que llamamos el desempeño laboral. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación que existe entre los riesgos ergonómicos y desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Nacional Ramiro Priale Priale, Huancayo – 2024. Métodos: estudio de tipo aplicado, cuantitativo, correlacional y transversal. La muestra censal estará constituida por 60 enfermeros de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Nacional Ramiro Priale Priale. Se usará la encuesta para aplicar dos cuestionarios en escala de tipo Likert adaptados por Pantoja para la población objetivo, están validados y son confiables para medir las variables en cuestión. Los datos recolectados serán procesados en SPSS 25 y las hipótesis se probarán usando la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman dado la naturaleza cuantitativa de las variables.
