Knowledge about arterial hypertension and lifestyle in adults treated in a national hospital, 2023

Abstract

This research entitled Level of Knowledge in High Blood Pressure and Lifestyles in adults treated in a National Hospital 2023. Its objective is to “Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge in high blood pressure and lifestyles”. Methodology: This research study will use the quantitative, deductive method, the research design is Observational and correlational, with retrospective data collection. The purpose is to test the relationship between the dimensions and the variable. The population will be made up of 60 adult patients diagnosed with high blood pressure who attend the cardiology service and who have given their consent for the application of the instruments with the purpose of contributing to the development of said research. Then it will be exported to the statistical package SPSS version 24, frequency tables and graphs will be generated according to the classification scale. Two questionnaires will be used, the first covers the level of knowledge in HTA and the second covers lifestyles, both approved at the national level and subjected to compliance testing.

La presente investigación titulada Conocimientos en Hipertensión Arterial y Estilos de Vida en adultos atendidos en un Hospital Nacional. Tiene como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento en hipertensión arterial y estilos de vida”. Metodología: El presente estudio de investigación empleará el método cuantitativo, deductivo, el diseño de investigación es Observacional y correlacional, con recolección de datos retrospectivo. La finalidad es de probar la relación entre las dimensiones y la variable. La población estará formada por 60 pacientes adultos diagnosticados con hipertensión arterial que acuden al servicio de cardiología y que han dado su consentimiento para la aplicación de los instrumentos con la finalidad de aportar al desarrollo de dicha investigación. Luego será exportado al paquete estadístico SPSS versión 24, se generará tablas y gráficos de frecuencia según escala de clasificación. Se emplearán dos cuestionarios, el primero abarca el nivel de conocimiento en HTA y el segundo abarca los estilos de vida, ambos aprobados a nivel nacional y sometidos a prueba de conformidad.
