The study will aim to "Determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing practice to prevent pressure ulcers in intensive care patients in a Private clinic in Lima, 2023", and will consider as methodology, the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, and level. correlational; The sample will be census and will be made up of 80 nurses, to whom two instruments will be applied through the survey and observation, the first a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge about pressure ulcer prevention with 16 items and four dimensions, and the second corresponded to a checklist of 25 items and two dimensions, both authored by Claudia Oropeza from the year 2022; Likewise, the two instruments were subjected in their respective study to content validity through the judgment of six experts; on the other hand, regarding reliability, they presented indices that indicate that they are applicable, the questionnaire reported a value of 0792 and the list of comparison reported an index of 0.723 through Cronbach's Alpha; According to the results found, the aim is to respond to the objectives set and thereby propose aspects for improvement to prevent the high incidence of pressure ulcer prevention in intensive care patients.
Resumen
El estudio planteará como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la práctica de enfermería para prevenir úlceras por presión en pacientes de cuidados intensivos en una clínica Privada de Lima, 2023”, contemplará como metodología, el enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y nivel correlacional; la muestra será censal la misma que estará conformada por 80 enfermeras, a quienes por medio de la encuesta y observación se aplicaran dos instrumentos, el primero un cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimiento sobre prevención de Úlceras por presión de 16 ítems y cuatro dimensiones, y el segundo correspondió a una lista de cotejo de 25 ítems y dos dimensiones ambos de la autoría de Claudia Oropeza del año 2022; asimismo los dos instrumentos fueron sometidos en su respectivo estudio a la validez de contenido por medio del Juicio de seis expertos, por otro lado, sobre la confiabilidad, presentaron índices que indican que son aplicables, el cuestionario reportó un valor de 0792 y la lista de cotejo reportó un índice de 0,723 por medio del Alfa de Cronbach; según los resultados que se encuentren se pretende llegar a dar respuesta a los objetivos planteados y con ello proponer aspectos de mejora para prevenir la alta incidencia de UPP en pacientes de cuidados intensivos.
