Work stress and burnout syndrome of nurses in the cardiology service of a specialized institute in Lima - 2023

Abstract

Objective: The present research is made to determine the relationship between work stress and Burnout syndrome in nurses of the cardiology area of a specialized institute in Lima – 2023. Methodology: This study used the hypothetic deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross sectional. In this study will take part 50 nurses of the cardiology area of a specialized institute in Lima. It will use the survey as a technique and two questionnaires as an instrument. One questionnaire will measure the work stress in nurses in three dimensions: physical, psychological and behavioral approach. The other questionnaire will measure Burnout syndrome in nurses in three dimensions emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment.

El presente estudio tiene por objetico determinar la relación entre el estrés laboral y el síndrome de burnout de las enfermeras del servicio de cardiología de un instituto especializado de Lima – 2023. En este trabajo se empleará el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional de corte transversal. Participaron 50 enfermeras del servicio de cardiología de un instituto especializado de Lima. Se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y como instrumentos dos cuestionarios; uno medirá el estrés laboral de la enfermera en sus tres dimensiones que son aspecto físico, aspecto psicológico y aspecto conductual y el otro medirá el síndrome de burnout en sus tres dimensiones que son el agotamiento emocional, despersonalización y falta de realización personal.
