Abstract

The research presented here will be carried out within the nursing research line focused on advanced treatment of wounds and ostomies, an area of great concern due to the risk factors affecting diabetic foot. This situation can affect the emotional, psychological, and mental stability of patients, manifestations that require the support, guidance, advice, and care of nursing staff, in order to provide them with tools that help prevent complications. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and the incidence of diabetic foot in the dressing room of the Polyclinic Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson, Callao 2021. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The approach to be used is quantitative, basic, with a descriptive-correlational scope and non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample will consist of 100 patients treated in the dressing room of the Polyclinic Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson. The technique to be employed will be the survey and the instruments will be two questionnaires.

La investigación que aquí se presenta, se llevará a cabo dentro de la línea de investigación enfermera centrada en el tratamiento avanzado en heridas y ostomías, ámbito sumamente álgido debido a los factores de riesgo que inciden en el pie diabético. Esta situación puede afectar la estabilidad emocional, psicológica y mental de los pacientes, manifestaciones que requieren del apoyo, guía, consejo y cuidados del personal de enfermería, a fin de brindarles herramientas que los ayude a prevenir complicaciones. OBJETIVO: determinar cuál es la relación entre los factores sociodemográficos y la incidencia del pie diabético en el consultorio de curaciones del Policlínico Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson, Callao 2021. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: el enfoque que se utilizará es cuantitativo, de tipo básica, con alcance descriptivo-correlacional y diseño no experimental, transversal. La muestra estará conformada por 100 pacientes atendidos en el consultorio de curaciones del Policlínico Alberto Leopoldo Barton Thompson. La técnica que se empleará será la encuesta y los instrumentos dos cuestionarios.
