Adherence to supplementation with ferrous sulfate and hemoglobin level in children from 6 to 36 months of the Chazuta Health Center, San Martin 2023

Abstract

Adherence to ferrous sulfate supplementation includes the indication and administration of iron, alone or with other vitamins and minerals, in the form of drops, syrup or tablets to supplement or maintain adequate levels of iron in the body. The main objective seeks to "Determine the relationship between adherence to supplementation with ferrous sulfate and the hemoglobin level in children from 6 to 36 months of age at the Chazuta-2023 Health Center." Deductive methods, correlational, cross-sectional descriptive design will be used. The demonstrated will be census including 100% of the population during the May-July period of this year. To collect the data, the survey technique will be used. For the level of adherence to ferrous sulfate supplementation, the instrument will be used. It is made up of 12 questions that are distributed in 3 dimensions, with 0.816, of Cronbach's alpha reliability. For the hemoglobin level, a technical sheet will be used with a dimension that is the hemoglobin dosage with four indicators. Both instruments modified and validated by Vera and Lora in the year 2020. The data will be statistically processed with the IBM SPSS 24.0 system, and the Pearson Rho test was used for the conversion.

La adherencia a la suplementación del sulfato ferroso incluye la indicación y administración de hierro, solo o con otras vitaminas y minerales, en forma de gotas, jarabe o comprimidos para complementar o mantener niveles adecuados de hierro en el organismo. El objetivo principal busca “Determinar la relación de la adherencia a la suplementación con sulfato ferroso y el nivel de hemoglobina en niños de 6 a 36 meses de edad del Centro de Salud Chazuta-2023”. Se utilizarán métodos deductivos, diseño descriptivo correlacional, transversal. El muestreo será censal incluyendo al 100% de la población durante el periodo de mayo-julio del presente año. Para recaudar los datos se usará la técnica de encuesta. Para el nivel de la adherencia a la suplementación del sulfato ferroso se empleará el instrumento de está compuesto por 12 interrogantes que se distribuyen en 3 dimensiones, con 0.816, de confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach. Para el nivel de hemoglobina se empleará una ficha técnica consta con una dimensión que es el dosaje de hemoglobina con cuatros indicadores. Ambos instrumentos modificados y validados por Vera y Lora en el año 2020. Los datos serán procesados estadísticamente con el sistema IBM SPSS 24.0, y para la correlación se utilizará la prueba de Rho de Pearson
