Work climate and stress of nursing staff in the surgical center of a national hospital of Huancayo, 2023

Abstract

Work stress is a series of physical, psychological and social reactions that cause an imbalance in the body; and they manifest themselves when the worker has work demands that are not in accordance with his experience and knowledge, which results in his work performance; Therefore, this study aims to: determine the relationship that exists between the level of stress and work environment of the nursing staff in the surgical center at the National Hospital of Huancayo, 2023. Methodology: the research is basic, of quantitative approach, nonexperimental, cross-sectional, descriptive design. The population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals from the surgical center of a National Hospital in Huancayo, Peru. The Alvarado and Rojas questionnaire in Peru (2020) was used to collect data. whose reliability is 0.905, and the instrument used for the work environment was the survey that was validated by Cárdenas (2022), whose reliability is 0.97. For data analysis, they will be loaded into Excel 2019 to score and classify the information collected, and into IBM SPSS version 25 to process them. Finally, the degree of relationship between both variables will be evaluated using the Spearman coefficient, which will respond to the stated objective.

El estrés laboral es una serie de reacciones tanto física, psicológica y social que provoca un desequilibrio en el organismo; y se manifiestan cuando el trabajador con exigencia laboral que no están acorde a su experiencia, conocimiento, lo que resulta en su rendimiento laboral; por lo que este estudio tiene como Objetivo: determinar cuál es la relación que existe entre el nivel de estrés y clima laboral del personal de enfermería en centro quirúrgico de un Hospital Nacional de Huancayo, 2023. Metodología: la investigación es de tipo básica, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, descriptivo. La población estará conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería del centro quirúrgico de un Hospital Nacional de Huancayo, Perú. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el cuestionario de Alvarado y Rojas en Perú (2020). cuya confiabilidad es de 0.905, y el instrumento usado para el clima laboral fue la encuesta que fue validado por Cárdenas (2022), cuya confiabilidad es de valor de 0,97. Para el análisis de los datos se cargarán en Excel 2019 para puntuar y clasificar la información recogida, en IBM SPSS versión 25 para procesarlos. Finalmente, se evaluará el grado de relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman, que dará respuesta al objetivo planteado.
