Coping strategies and anxiety in hemodialysis patients at the national hospital of Lima, 2023

Abstract

The objective of the research will be Determine how the coping strategy is related to anxiety in hemodialysis patients attending a national hospital in Lima 2023. The methodology: the hypothetical deductive method, the quantitative approach and non-experimental design, and level will be taken as the method. correlational; For the sample, 80 patients who are being treated with hemodialysis will be considered, the survey will be the technique and the instruments to be used will be the Coping Strategies Questionnaire by Tous et al. (27) from 2022, and for the second variable the Adult Manifest Anxiety Scale (AMAS), taken from the adaptation of Aponte (37) from 2020, the two instruments contain the relevant validity, the Coping Strategies Questionnaire I present a KMO = 0.76 and a Bartlett sphericity p<0.001 and the reliability of 0.865 according to Cronbach's Alpha (27); The second instrument was validated using the correlation index, these being 0.91 in each dimension; 0.83 and 0.84; They also contain content validity through expert judgment, their reliability was 0.86 through the KR-20 (37). The data collected will be analyzed in the SPSS V25 program, the descriptive analysis of the variables will be carried out and the hypothesis tests will be carried out using a correlation coefficient: Pearson or Spearman's Rho, depending on the type of distribution that the data has. with the results it is expected to provide contributions to the problem raised.

La investigación tendrá como Objetivo: Determinar cómo se relaciona la estrategia de afrontamiento con la ansiedad en los pacientes en hemodiálisis que asiste en un hospital nacional de Lima 2023. La metodología: se tomará como método el hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional; para la muestra se considerará a 80 pacientes que se dializa, la encuesta será la técnica y los instrumentos a utilizar serán el Cuestionario de Estrategias de afrontamiento de Tous et al. del año 2022, y para la segunda variable la Escala de (AMAS), Apunte del año 2020, los dos instrumentos contienen la validez pertinente, el Cuestionario de estrategias de afrontamiento presento un KMO = 0.76 y una esfericidad de Bartlett p<0,001 y la confiabilidad de 0.865 según el Alfa de Cronbach; el segundo instrumento se validó mediante el índice de correlación siendo estos en cada dimensión 0,91; 0,83 y 0,84; tiene validez por medio del juicio de expertos, su confiabilidad fue por medio del KR-20 de 0.86. La data recolectada se analizará en SPSS V25, se realizarán el análisis descriptivo de las variables y las pruebas de hipótesis se efectuarán por medio de un coeficiente de correlación de Pearson o Spearman.
