Parental perception on behavioral and emotional capabilities in children from the 3rd to the 5th grade of elementary of the San Jose, el Agustino 2020.

Abstract

Introduction: According to the WHO (World Health Organization), behavioral problems affect the relationships of family members and society, the symptoms can affect childhood in their educational level, communication and relationships with peers. The emotional and behavioral problem can be modified with healthy lifestyles and emotional management. Objective: Determine the perception of parents about the behavioral and emotional capacities in children from the 3rd to the 5th grade of primary school at the I.E San José, el agustino 2020. Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study will be carried out. The study population will be made up of 98 students from 8 to 10 years old who study at the I.E San José, the instrument that will be applied to parents, the Spanish version SDQ abilities and difficulties questionnaire according to 5 dimensions: emotional symptoms, behavioral problems , Hyperactivity, problems with peers, pro-social problems. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the SPSS 25 statistical package and Excel.

Introducción: Según la OMS (Organización Mundial de la Salud), los problemas del comportamiento afecta las relaciones de los integrantes de la familia y la sociedad, los síntomas pueden afectar en la infancia en su nivel educativo, comunicación y relaciones con pares. El problema emocional y del comportamiento se puede modificar, con los estilos de vida saludable y el manejo de las emociones. Objetivo: Determinar la percepción de los padres sobre las capacidades conductuales y emocionales en niños del 3° al 5° grado de primaria de la I.E San José, el agustino 2020. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por 98 alumnos de 8 a 10 años que estudian en la I.E San José, el instrumento que se aplicara a los padres, el cuestionario de capacidades y dificultades SDQ versión española según 5 dimensiones: síntomas emocionales, problemas de conducta, Hiperactividad, problemas con pares, problemas pro-social. Los datos obtenidos serán tabulados y procesados estadísticamente, aplicando el paquete estadístico SPSS 25, y Excel.
