The quality of care, optimal, timely, personalized, humanized, and effective provided by nursing satisfies the needs of the patient. Pain management in postoperative patients is one of the most evaluated aspects in the postoperative period. This study, titled "Patient Satisfaction with Nursing Care in Postoperative Pain Management in the Surgery Service of the Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue - Lima 2021," aimed to identify postoperative patient satisfaction with nursing care in the treatment of postoperative pain in the surgery service of the Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue - Lima 2021. This study is applied, quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional in nature. The population consisted of all postoperative patients over the age of 18 in the surgery service of the Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue during the period from July to December 2021. The sampling method was non-probabilistic for convenience, resulting in a sample of 125 patients. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was an ordinal scale consisting of items based on the dimensions of patient satisfaction. Considering that every postoperative patient requires specialized nursing care, more studies should be conducted on this topic, which provides a guide for possible updates in protocols, care guidelines, and nursing training.
Resumen
La calidad de atención, optima, oportuna, personalizada, humanizada, eficaz que brinda la enfermería logra satisfacer las necesidades de su paciente, la atención del dolor en el paciente post operado es uno de los más evaluados en el post operatorio. En el presente estudio que se titula sobre la satisfacción del paciente post operado frente al cuidado de enfermería en el tratamiento del dolor post quirúrgico en el servicio de cirugía del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue - Lima 2021; lo que se pretende lograr es con este estudio fue identificar la satisfacción del paciente post operatorio frente al cuidado de enfermería en el tratamiento del dolor post quirúrgico en el servicio de cirugía del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue, - Lima 2021. Este estudio es de nivel aplicativo, cuantitativo, descriptivo de corte transversal, la población estuvo formada por todos los pacientes post operados mayores de 18 años en el servicio de cirugía del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue durante el periodo de julio a diciembre 2021, el tipo de muestreo fue no probabilístico por conveniencia obteniendo una muestra de 125 pacientes, la técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento una escala ordinal compuesto ítems según las dimensiones de la satisfacción del paciente, teniendo en cuenta que todo paciente post operado necesita cuidado de enfermería especializados, se deben realizar más estudios con relación a este tema, que nos proporciona una guía para actualizaciones posibles en los protocolos, guías de atención y capacitaciones de enfermería.
