Work overload and stress in nursing professionals, emergency area, in a hospital of the Minsa de Lurigancho Chosica, 2024

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine how work overload is related to stress in a group of emergency nursing professionals in a hospital in Lima. The study is developed under a quantitative approach with a correlational level of application, of non-experimental design, with the participation of 45 emergency nursing professionals, with the use of the survey technique and the application of two validated and reliable instrument questionnaires with an approval of more than 90%, with which it will be possible to collect information from the sample in order to obtain a database developed in Excel. which will then be statistically processed by the SPSS 25.0 program, in order to establish the results both descriptive with tables and figures, as well as the inferential analysis that through tests such as Spearman's Rho will allow us to verify the hypotheses raised and based on this verify the objectives of the study and provide the conclusions regarding it.

La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar como la sobrecarga laboral se relaciona con el estrés en un grupo de profesionales de enfermería de emergencia, en un hospital de Lima. El estudio se desarrolla bajo un enfoque cuantitativo con un nivel de aplicación correlacional, de diseño no experimental, con la participación de 45 profesionales de enfermería de emergencia, con el uso de la técnica de la encuesta y la aplicación de dos cuestionarios instrumentos validados y confiables con una aprobación de más del 90%, con lo cual se podrá recolectará información de la muestra para poder obtener una base de datos desarrollada en Excel, la cual será luego procesada estadísticamente por el programa SPSS 25.0, con el fin de establecer los resultados tanto descriptivos con tablas y figuras, así como el análisis inferencial que a través de pruebas como el Rho de Spearman nos permitirá comprobar las hipótesis planteadas y en base a ello comprobar los objetivos de estudio y brindar las conclusiones respecto a ello.
