Level of knowledge about surgical intervention and degree of anxiety in the preoperative patient of a level I hospital Oxapampa-2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship that exists between the Level of Knowledge about Surgical Intervention and Degree of Anxiety in the preoperative patient of a Level I Hospital Oxapampa-2023. Methodological Design: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, correlational level and cross section. Population and sample: The population will consist of 80 hospitalized patients in the pre-surgical stage of the Oxapampa Social Security and the sample will be the same population. Data Collection Technique: The data collection technique will be the survey. Instruments: For the variable Level of Knowledge about Surgical Intervention, the Pre-Surgical Information Test will be used, which was prepared by Sandoval et al. (2018) and adapted for the study by Julissa Gisella Torres Watanabe and Lisbet Judith Tiburcio Sánchez (2020) ; which consists of 20 items, the final score will be classified into: High, Medium and Low. In the case of the second variable of Degree of Anxiety, the Amsterdam Preoperative Information and Anxiety Scale (EAIPA) and/or (APAIS) prepared by Moermann (1996) will be used, which has been validated and translated by several countries. It consists of 6 items, classified in an ordinal way as: Severe, moderate, mild anxiety or No anxiety. Statistical processing and data analysis: It will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequencies expressed in percentages, the statistical analysis will be according to its distribution through parametric (Pearson's Correlation) or non-parametric (Spearman's Rho correlation) statistical tests.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el Nivel de Conocimiento sobre Intervención Quirúrgica y Grado de Ansiedad en el paciente preoperatorio de un Hospital de Nivel I Oxapampa 2023. Diseño Metodológico: El método será hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada , nivel correlacional y corte transversal. Población y muestra: La población estará constituida por 80 pacientes hospitalizados en etapa prequirúrgica del Seguro Social Oxapampa y la muestra será la misma población. Técnica de Recolección de datos: La técnica de recolección de datos será la encuesta. Instrumentos: Para la variable Nivel de Conocimientos sobre Intervención Quirúrgica se empleará el Test de Información Prequirúrgico, el cual fue elaborado por Sandoval y et al. (2018) y adaptado para el estudio de Julissa Gisella Torres Watanabe y Lisbet Judith Tiburcio Sánchez (2020) ; el cual consta de 20 items, el puntaje final se clasificará en :Alto, Medio y Bajo. En el caso de la segunda variable de Grado de Ansiedad se empleará el Escala de Ansiedad e Información Preoperatorio de Ámsterdam (EAIPA) y/o (APAIS) elaborado por Moermann (1996) , la cual ha sido validada y traducida por varios países. Consta de 6 ítems, calificándose de manera ordinal en: Ansiedad severa , moderada, leve o No ansiedad. Procesamiento estadístico y análisis de datos: Se realizará mediante técnicas descriptivas y frecuencias expresadas en porcentajes, el análisis estadístico será según sea su distribución a través de pruebas estadísticas paramétricas (Correlación de Pearson) o no paramétricas (Correlación Rho de Spearman).
