Level of knowledge and attitude of nursing staff regarding action measures in the face of an earthquake disaster in the emergency area of the Carlos Alcántara Butterfield I Hospital, Lima - 2023

Abstract

General objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of the nursing staff regarding the measures to be taken in the event of an earthquake disaster in the emergency area of the Carlos Alcántara Butterfield I Hospital, Lima- 2023. Materials and Methods: The methodology to be used in this study will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational in scope, which will allow obtaining the expected results. The population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals from the Emergency. In the same way, to measure the two variables, the technique to be used will be the survey with two questionnaires duly validated at national level, applied by Luna in the year 2022, by means of six experts in the specialty with a "p" value between 0.004 and 0.035 for V1 and "p" 0.05 for V2. In the same way, this instrument had a reliability whose coefficient was calculated by means of Cronbach's Alpha test, whose values were 0.81 for V1 and 0.95 for V2, which guaranteed the reliability of the instruments. The results will then be entered into an Excel 2018 data matrix, in statistical tables and graphs for discussion with theoretical background and interpretation. An inferential test using Spearman's Rho statistic will be used to establish the correlation coefficient

Objetivo general: Determinar la relación existente entre nivel de conocimiento y la actitud del personal de enfermería sobre las medidas de acción ante un desastre por sismo en el área de emergencia del Hospital Carlos Alcántara Butterfield I, Lima- 2023. Materiales y Métodos: La metodología que se empleará en este estudio será de tipo hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, transversal, no experimental y de alcance correlacional, la cual permitirá obtener resultados que se esperan. La población estará conformada por 80 profesionales de enfermería del Área de Emergencia. De la misma manera, para medir las dos variables la técnica a utilizarse será la encuesta con dos cuestionarios debidamente validados a nivel nacional, aplicado por Luna en el año 2022, por medio de seis expertos en la especialidad con valor “p” entre 0,004 y 0,035 para V1 y “p” 0,05 para V2. De la misma manera este instrumento contó con una confiabilidad cuyo coeficiente fue calculado por medio de la prueba Alfa de Cronbach, cuyos valores fue 0,81, para la V1 y de 0,95 para la V2, lo que garantizó la confiabilidad de los instrumentos. Luego los resultados se introducirán en una matriz de datos de Excel 2022, en tablas estadísticas y gráficos para su discusión con los antecedentes teóricos y la interpretación. Se utilizará una prueba inferencial que utilice el estadístico Rho de Spearman para establecer el coeficiente de correlación.
