Family support and self-care of the patient with hemodialysis treatment through a central venous catheter at the National Renal Health Center Essalud Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To identify the relationship between family support and patient self-care with hemodialysis treatment by central venous catheter at the National Center for Renal Health. Methodology: The research to be applied as it is applied, quantitative approach, nonexperimental, descriptive-correlational analysis, cross-section. Population and Samples: The population consists of 86 patients with hemodialysis treatment by central venous catheter at the National Center for Renal Health who meet the inclusion criteria which are established for the convenience of the researcher by non-probabilistic sample. Technique and instrument: The survey technique will be used and the instruments to evaluate are according to the variables: a) Family Support and b) Self-care capacity, both validated by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient with values equivalent to 0.7 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The data will be coded and then entered into an Excel database and processed IBM—SPSS Statistical Program with version 25. The Chi Square statistical test will be applied with a level of 0.5 of statistical significance (validity). They will be presented in tables, tables and graphs. Throughout the research, the criteria of scientific rigor and ethical principles will be taken into account.

Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre apoyo familiar y el autocuidado del paciente con tratamiento de hemodiálisis por catéter venoso central en el Centro Nacional de Salud Renal. Metodología: La investigación a aplicarse en cuanto es de tipo aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, de análisis descriptivo-correlacional, de corte transversal. Población y Muestras :La población está constituida por 86 pacientes con tratamiento de hemodiálisis por catéter venoso central en el Centro Nacional de Salud Renal que cumplan los criterios de inclusión los cuales son establecida por conveniencia de la investigadora por muestre no probabilistico.Tecnica e instrumento: Se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta y los instrumentos para evaluar están acordes a las variables : a) Apoyo Familiar y b) Capacidad de autocuidado, ambos validados mediante el coeficiente de Alpha de Cronbach con valores equivales a 0.7 respectivamente. Procesamiento y análisis de datos: Los datos serán codificados y luego ingresados a una base de datos de Excel y se procesara Programa Estadístico IBM—SPSS Estadístico con la versión 25. Se aplicará la prueba estadística Chi Cuadrado con un nivel de 0.5 de significancia estadística (validez). Serán presentados en tablas, cuadros y gráficos. Durante toda la investigación se tendrá en cuenta los criterios del rigor científico y principios éticos.
