Knowledge of biosafety standards and their relationship with the use of protective equipment in nurses at the Surgical Center of a private clinic

Abstract

The present research project will have as a general objective: To determine the relationship of knowledge of biosafety standards and its relationship with the use of protective equipment in nurses at the Surgical Center of a private clinic in Lima, 2023. The population will be composed for 80 nurses currently working in a surgical center, no sampling or sampling will be carried out since it is considered a finite population. The study method will be used will be the hypothetical deductive one, it is related to quantitative research, since it helps to determine the characteristics of a particular reality. For the collection of data, the survey technique and the questionnaire will be used as an instrument, through the reliability analysis using the instrument by Cronbach's Alpha, as a score 0.811 was obtained, thus taking a reliable instrument, to determine the reliability of the second instrument was applied the Kuder Richardson reliability coefficient test (KR-20), and the instrument gave as a result Kr20 = 0.73, which is considered reliable. For the processing and analysis of the data that will be obtained in the study, the SSPS Statistic V26 program will be used.

El presente proyecto de investigación tendrá como objetivo general: Determinar cuál es la relación del conocimiento de normas de bioseguridad y su relación con el uso de equipo de protección en los enfermeros de Centro Quirúrgico de una clínica privada de Lima, 2023. La población estará compuesta por 80 enfermeros trabajando actualmente en un centro quirúrgico, no se realizará toma de muestra o muestreo ya que se considera población finita. El método de estudio se usará será el hipotético deductivo, está relacionado a investigaciones cuantitativas, puesto que ayuda a determinar las características de una realidad particular. Para la recopilación de datos se usará como técnica encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario, mediante el análisis de confiabilidad utilizando del instrumento por Alpha de Cronbach, como puntaje se obtuvo 0.811, tomándose así un instrumento confiable, para determinar la confiabilidad del segundo instrumento se aplicó la prueba del coeficiente de confiabilidad de Kuder Richardson (KR-20), y el instrumento dio como resultado Kr20 = 0.73, el cual se considera fiable. Para el procesamiento y el análisis de los datos que se obtendrá en el estudio, se utilizará el programa SSPS Statistic V26
