Level of therapeutic adherence in diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease at the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital – Pasco – 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the level of therapeutic adherence in diabetic patients with chronic kidney disease at the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital – Pasco, 2021. Methodology: Applied research with a quantitative approach, descriptive method and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population will consist of diabetic patients with CKD treated in the Non-communicable Diseases Unit of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital in 2021 according to the selection criteria. Sampling will not be carried out. Data collection techniques and instruments: The survey technique will be used and the instrument that will be used is the “Therapeutic Adherence Questionnaire.” Validation and reliability: This questionnaire was validated by expert judgment; its reliability in a pilot test resulted in a Cronbach's alpha value equal to 0.799. Data processing and analysis plan: Patients will be identified with the database that is available for each one, then they will be visited to conduct the survey. The data will be entered in Microsoft Excel software, they will be worked descriptively for both demographic data, as well as by dimensions with the help of descriptive statistics.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de adherencia terapéutica en pacientes diabéticos con enfermedad renal crónica del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión – Pasco, 2021. Metodología: Investigación aplicada de enfoque cuantitativo, método descriptivo y diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población estará constituida por los pacientes diabéticos con ERC atendidos en la Unidad de Enfermedades no transmisibles del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión en el año 2021 acorde a los criterios de selección. No se realizará muestreo. Técnicas e Instrumentos de recolección de datos: Se hará uso de la técnica de la encuesta y el Instrumento que se utilizará es el “Cuestionario para la adherencia terapéutica”. Validación y confiabilidad: Este cuestionario fue validado por juicio de expertos, su confiabilidad en una prueba piloto dio como resultado un valor de alfa de Cronbach igual a 0.799. Plan de procesamiento y análisis de datos: Los pacientes serán identificados con la base de datos que se tiene de cada uno, luego se les hará una visita para realizarles la encuesta. Los datos serán digitados en el software de Microsoft Excel, serán trabajados de manera descriptiva tanto para los datos demográficos, así como por dimensiones con ayuda de la estadística descriptiva.
