| dc.description.abstract | The COVID-19 pandemic is a global public health problem, it has affected the physical and/or mental health of the entire population. Health personnel are affected by this health threat and are always on the front line, protecting the population. The study is a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational approach; We worked with a sample of 120 subjects, including 85 nursing graduates and 35 nursing care technicians. As a data collection tool, an electronic survey was used. In the first section, sociodemographic characteristics were investigated, as well as pre-existing factors. In the second section, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD7) was used. The results showed that the factors significantly associated with anxiety in nursing staff, determined by Spearman's Rho, with p value ≤ 0.01, are service time (Rho= -0.27**), consumption of psychoactive substances (Rho= -0.22**), worry about becoming infected (Rho= 0.32**), worry about family burden (Rho= 0.26**), worry about insufficient or scarce PPE (Rho= 0.25**), worry about work overload (Rho= 0.36**), worry about economic situation (Rho= 0.32**), difficulty dealing with emotions (Rho= 0.77 **) | en_US |
