Workload and stress level of the nursing professional in the emergency area of a national hospital of Lima, 2023

Abstract

General objective: Determine the workload and its relationship with the stress level of the nursing professional in the emergency area. Materials and Methods: Applied research, observational design, correlational level and cross-sectional. Population: The population will be made up of 98 nursing professionals who work in the emergency service of the Hospital under study. We will work with a census sample because it is a small population according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. To measure the knowledge variable, two instruments will be used to measure the variables that had validity and reliability in the Peruvian state. The processing of the data and its subsequent statistical analysis will be carried out through the statistical software for social sciences, SPSS version 23 program, the data obtained will be entered, after correlative coding. During this process, data cleaning will be taken into account, excluding those questionnaires that presented at least one missing response to the main variables. To determine the relationship between the study variables, logistic regression will be used to contrast the formulated hypothesis. The results obtained from said processing will be presented in double-entry tables and bar graphs, among others. The statistical analysis to establish the relationship between the variables will be through the chi square statistical test.

Investigación de tipo aplicada, diseño observacional, nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 98 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital objeto de estudio, se trabajara con una muestra censal por ser una población pequeña de acuerdo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Para medir la variable conocimiento se utilizará 2 instrumento para medir las variables que tenían validez y confiabilidad en el estado peruano. El procesamiento de los datos y su posterior análisis estadístico se realizará a través de el software estadístico para ciencias sociales, programa SPSS versión 23, se ingresarán los datos obtenidos, previa codificación correlativa. Durante dicho proceso se tendrá en cuenta la depuración de datos, excluyendo aquellos cuestionarios que presentaron al menos una respuesta perdida de las variables principales. Para determinar la relación entre las variables de estudio se utilizará la regresión logística y poder contrastar la hipótesis formulada, los resultados obtenidos de dicho procesamiento serán presentadas en tablas de doble entrada y gráficos de barra entre otros. El análisis estadístico para establecer la relación entre las variables será a través de la prueba estadística del chi cuadrado.
