Family support and quality of life of the older adult who attends the medicine service of a Health Center in Lima, 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between family support and the quality of life of the older adult who attends the Medicine Service of a Health Center in Lima, 2022. Material and method: The research responds to the hypothetical-deductive method and has a quantitative approach. , descriptive cross-sectional correlational design, The population will be made up of 150 older adults who attend the Medicine Service of a Health Center in Lima; Likewise, the study sample will be calculated using the statistical formula of simple random probabilistic sampling and our sample will be 108 older adults, the survey technique will be used and there will be 2 instruments that were carried out by the researchers Yoli Fabiola Alvarado Mercado and Rosita Guadalupe Chávez Sánchez, through the appreciation of highly qualified expert judges in the research topic who gave their rating of relevance, clarity and relevance to each of the items, through the Binomial Test of family support (p=0.012) and quality of life (p=0.011). Data processing will be made using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, Excel for Windows 2016 will also be used to extract data according to a matrix structured as a database in relation to the measuring instrument. .

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el apoyo familiar y la calidad de vida del adulto mayor que asiste al Servicio de Medicina de un Centro de Salud de Lima, 2022. Material y método: La investigación responde al método hipotético-deductivo tiene enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo de corte transversal de diseño correlacional, La población estará conformada por 150 adultos mayores que asisten al Servicio de Medicina de un Centro de Salud de Lima; asimismo, la muestra del estudio será calculada utilizando la fórmula estadística del muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple y nuestra muestra será de 108 adultos mayores, se utilizara la técnica de la encuesta y se tendrá 2 instrumentos que fueron realizadas por las investigadoras Yoli Fabiola Alvarado Mercado y Rosita Guadalupe Chávez Sánchez, mediante la apreciación de jueces expertos altamente calificados en el tema de investigación quienes dieron su calificación de pertinencia, claridad y relevancia a cada uno de los ítems, a través de la Prueba Binomial del apoyo familiar (p=0.012) y calidad de vida (p=0.011). El procesamiento de datos se hará uso del paquete estadístico para las ciencias sociales (SPSS) versión 22.0, asimismo se hará uso del Excel para Windows 2016 en el vaciado de datos de acuerdo a una matriz estructurada como base de datos en relación al instrumento de medición.
