Spiritual well-being of nurses working with oncology patients in the Clinica Internacional Lima Peru 2021 network

Abstract

Aim. It will determine the level of spiritual well-being of nurses who work with oncology patients in the International Clinical Network, Lima - Peru. Materials and methods. The present research will have a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is a descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental research. The population will consist of 100 nurses who work with cancer patients selected within the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in this research. One of these inclusion criteria is: that they work with cancer patients for more than a year and one of the exclusion criteria is: It will be that they are atheists or agnostics. The technique to be used will be the survey, to measure the level of spiritual well-being, the spiritual well-being scale of Paloutzian and Ellison (1982) adapted by Salgado (2012) will be used as an instrument, which evaluates spiritual well-being and two religious and existential dimensions. It consists of 21 items (11 to know the level of religious well-being and 10 to know the level of existential well-being).

Objetivo. Será determinar el nivel de bienestar espiritual de enfermeros que trabajan con pacientes oncológicos en la Red Clínica Internacional, Lima –Perú. Materiales y métodos. La presente investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, en cuanto al diseño metodológico es una investigación descriptiva, transversal no experimental. La población estará constituida por 100 enfermeros que trabajen con pacientes oncológicos seleccionados dentro de los criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en esta investigación, uno de estos criterios de inclusión es: que trabajen con pacientes oncológicos más de un año y uno de los criterios de exclusión será que sean ateos o agnósticos. La técnica a utilizarse será la encuesta, para medir el nivel de bienestar espiritual se utilizará como instrumento la escala de bienestar espiritual de Paloutzian y Ellison (1982) adaptada por Salgado (2012) la cual evalúa el bienestar espiritual y dos dimensiones religiosa y existencial, consta de 21 ítems (11 para conocer el nivel bienestar religioso y 10 para conocer el nivel de bienestar existencial).
