With the aim of identifying the factors associated with the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding in a population of 136 postpartum women from a maternal and child center in Chorrillos from January to July 2021, a non-experimental quantitative design study of a cross-sectional type will be carried out, the method will be hypothetical deductive, while the information collection will be carried out through a survey at home, using a single previously designed instrument, which will allow us to measure the two study variables, with a detailed and understandable questionnaire for mothers who agree to participate in the study through their informed consent, the instrument describes the following dimensions where data will be collected related to the associated factors (sociodemographic, biological, psychological, health system) and the most frequent breastfeeding habits, which are related to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding.
Resumen
Con el objetivo de identificar los factores asociados al abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva a una población de 136 puérperas de un centro materno infantil de Chorrillos de enero a julio 2021, se realizará un estudio de diseño cuantitativo no experimental de tipo transversal, el método será hipotético deductivo, mientras que la recolección de información se realizará mediante una encuesta en el domicilio, utilizando un único instrumento previamente diseñado, que nos permitirá medir las dos variables de estudio, con un cuestionario detallando y entendible para las madres que acepten participar en el estudio mediante su consentimiento informado, el instrumento describe las siguientes dimensiones donde se recolectara datos relacionado a los factores asociados (sociodemográficos, biológicos, psicológicos, sistema de salud) y los hábitos más frecuentes de la lactancia materna, que están relacionados con el abandono de la lactancia materna exclusiva.
