Quality of nursing care and compliance with the vaccination schedule of mothers of children under one year of age in an EsSalud hospital in 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and compliance with the vaccination schedule of mothers of children under one year of age in an Essalud hospital in 2023. Methods: The hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied research type, nonexperimental design, correlational level and cross-sectional cut will be used; also, 150 mothers with children under one year of age who attend the immunization area of an Essalud hospital will participate in order to comply with the vaccination schedule of their child. For the collection of information, two duly validated and reliable questionnaires will be applied. The data obtained will be processed using the SPSS version 26 statistical package and the results will be tabulated with the Excel program and interpreted using graphs and statistical tables. The correlation between both variables will be measured by Pearson's correlation coefficient for ordinal scales.

Se empleará el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicado, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal; asimismo, se contará con la participación de 150 madres con hijos menores de un año que asisten al área de inmunización de un hospital de Essalud a fin de cumplir con el calendario de vacunación de su hijo. Para la recopilación de información se aplicarán dos cuestionarios debidamente validados y confiables. Los datos obtenidos serán procesados mediante el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 26 y los resultados serán tabulados con el programa Excel e interpretados mediante gráficos y tablas estadísticas.
