Level of knowledge about hygiene and attitude of handwashing in students from the fifth to eighth cycle of nursing at the Norbert Wiener University, Lima 2022

Abstract

For the elaboration of the present study, the general objective has been to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of hand washing in students from for which A hypothetical deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach and a descriptive correlational type of research and a cross-sectional design, being used a sample of 98 students from fifth to eighth E.A.P.E of the Norbert Wiener University who were submitted to the questionnaire instrument in order to evaluate the variables. The main results showed a significance lower than .05; as well as a coefficient of .969 that allowed us to conclude that the level of knowledge is related to the attitude of hand washing in students from the Fifth to the Eighth Cycle of Nursing at the Norbert Wiener University, Lima 2022.

Objetivo: Establecer la relación del nivel de conocimiento sobre higiene con la actitud del lavado de manos en los estudiantes del Quinto al Octavo Ciclo de Enfermería de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima 2022. Material y método: El enfoque metodológico fue hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un tipo de investigación descriptivo correlacional y un diseño transversal, siendo para ella utilizada una muestra de 98 estudiantes quienes fueron sometidos a dos instrumentos a fin de evaluar las variables. Los principales resultados arrojaron una significancia inferior a .05; así como también un coeficiente de ,969 que permitió concluir que el nivel de conocimiento sobre higiene se relaciona con la actitud del lavado de manos en los estudiantes del Quinto al Octavo Ciclo de Enfermería de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima 2022
