Knowledge and attitudes of nursing staff about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in an emergency hospital in Lima, 2024

Abstract

The objective of this study is to measure the level of association between nursing professionals' knowledge and their attitudes about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in an emergency department in Lima. To this end, a quantitative methodology will be developed under a hypothetical deductive method, with a non-experimental design working with 90 nursing professionals as sample subjects through the use of two validated and reliable questionnaires with a level of 0.780 and 0.900, with which data will be collected for the measurement of the variables. This will be done with a coding of the answers and the information obtained from the nursing professionals in a database made in Excel that will then be statistically analyzed by the SPSS 25.0 program, which will provide tables and graphs for the descriptive results, also Spearman's Rho test will be applied to verify the hypotheses. and thus, be able to express the conclusions of the study responding to the objectives set.

El estudio presenta como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y las actitudes del personal de enfermería sobre reanimación cardiopulmonar. Para lo cual se desarrollará una metodología cuantitativa bajo un método hipotético deductivo, con un diseño no experimental trabajando con 80 profesionales de enfermería como sujetos muestrales mediante el uso de dos cuestionarios validados y confiables con un nivel de 0.780 y 0.900, con lo cual se recolectará los datos para la medición de las variables, ello con una codificación de las respuesta y la información obtenida de los profesionales de enfermería plasmado en una base de datos realizada en Excel que luego será analizada estadísticamente por el programa SPSS 25.0, el cual arrojara tablas y gráficos para los resultados descriptivos, asimismo se aplicará la prueba de Rho de Spearman para la comprobación de las hipótesis, y con ello poder expresar las conclusiones del estudio respondiendo a los objetivos planteados.
