Family members’ perception of humanized care provided by nurses to patients in the ICU at the National Hospital of Lima, 2021

Abstract

Humanized care is the essence of the nurse's work, which is made up of actions, of a transpersonal and intersubjective nature, with the aim of protecting humanity, as well as its preservation through its help and care of the patient in the face of illness. This is why this research presents as objective; determine the Perception of the Family Member Regarding the Humanized Care Provided by the Nurse to the Patient in the ICU - of the National Hospital in Lima 2021, as well as the perception of the biological, sociocultural, spiritual and emotional dimension of humanized care. Material and Method The development of the research is governed by the inductive method and also presents a quantitative approach and a cross-section with the participation of 50 relatives of the patients who were hospitalized. As a technique in data collection, interviews will also be used as an instrument. The modified Likert-type scale is applied.

El cuidado humanizado es la esencial del trabajo de la enfermera lo cual está formado por acciones, de carácter transpersonal e intersubjetiva, con el fin de la protección de la humanidad, así como su preservación mediante su ayuda y cuidado del paciente ante la enfermedad. Es por lo cual la presente investigación presenta como objetivo; determinar la Percepción del Familiar Respecto al Cuidado Humanizado que Brinda la Enfermera al Paciente en UCI - del Hospital Nacional en Lima 2021 asimismo la percepción sobre la dimensión biológica, sociocultural, espiritual y emocional del cuidado humanizado. Material y Método el desarrollo de la investigación se rige bajo el método inductivo además presenta un enfoque cuantitativo y un corte transversal con la participación de 50 familiares de los pacientes que estaban hospitalizados, como técnica en la recolección de datos se utilizara la entrevistas además como instrumento se aplica la escala modificada tipo Likert.
