Burnout syndrome in nurses working in the critical care unit of a Lima Hospital, 2020.

Abstract

The present research in development will have a quantitative focus, the methodological design will be non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The population to be considered will consist of 100 licensed nurses working in the ICU of a hospital in Lima during the current year 2020. No sampling will be conducted due to having a small population. The technique to be used will be the survey, and the data collection instrument will be the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire, which has 3 dimensions and a total of 22 items.

La presente investigación en desarrollo será de enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico será no experimental, de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. La cantidad poblacional a considerarse estará constituida por 100 Licenciadas(os) de enfermería que laboran en la UCI de Hospital de Lima durante el presente año 2020. No se realizara muestreo por contar con una población pequeña. La técnica a utilizarse será la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos será el cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) el cual tiene 3 dimensiones y un total de 22 ítems.
