Nursing care and patient satisfaction with hemodialysis therapy at the hemodialysis center, Nuevo Chimbote, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine how nursing care is related to patient satisfaction with hemodialysis therapy in the hemodialysis center. Methodology: This research uses the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative, non-experimental, applicative approach since it seeks an association in its variables. Sample population: In this research report, the population consisted of 103 patients attending the hemodialysis center, Nuevo Chimbote. Instrument: The instrument will be used to measure the variable of Nursing Care, it is the questionnaire form and measured by the Likert scale, validated by Luz Nelly Rivera Alvares, Álvaro Triana, Oscar J. Gonzales H". The instrument selected in this research is the "Caring Assessment Instrument" (Care-Q) was "designed in 1981 by Dr. Patricia Larson and validated by herself, which allows measuring patient satisfaction at the hospital level. Data processing and analysis plan: The data will be encoded and typed in the Excel program, for subsequent export to the SPSS statistical software for processing and data analysis. Statistical analysis: An inferential statistical analysis will be carried out, through the application of Spearman's correlation coefficient (rho), giving us the level of significance expressed with the p-value < 0.05 and 95 confidences, which will allow us to reject the null hypothesis.

Objetivo: Determinar como el cuidado de enfermería se relaciona con la satisfacción de los pacientes con terapia de hemodiálisis en el centro de hemodiálisis. Metodología: Esta investigación utiliza el método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, aplicativo ya que busca una asociación en sus variables. Población muestra: En este informe de investigación la población está constituida por 103 pacientes que acuden al centro de hemodiálisis, Nuevo Chimbote. Instrumento: El instrumento se utilizará para medir la variable del Cuidado de enfermería, es el formulario tipo cuestionario y medido por la escala de Likert, validado por Luz Nelly Rivera Alvares, Álvaro Triana, Oscar J. Gonzales H”. El instrumento seleccionado en esta investigación es el “Caring Assessment Instrument” (Care-Q) fue “diseñado en 1981 por la doctora Patricia Larson y validado por ella misma, que permite medir la satisfacción del paciente a nivel hospitalario. Plan de procesamiento y análisis de datos: Los datos serán codificados y digitados en el programa Excel, para su posterior exportación al software estadística SPSS para su proceso y análisis de datos. Análisis estadístico: Se hará un análisis estadístico inferencial, mediante la aplicación del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman (rho).
